Looks like we're getting close to takeoff.

I'm in Atlanta for owners' meetings, and there's talk that owners could ratify this thing quickly when they meet Thursday morning. Their labor committee is meeting today -- with the Cowboys' Jerry Jones, the Giants' John Mara, the Chiefs' Clark Hunt and Carolina's Jerry Richardson seen heading into this afternoon's meeting.

The rest of the owners are arriving later today or this evening, with meeting tomorrow ready for 10 a.m. ET. People here think this could happen within 24 hours.

The countdown begins

OMG, are you kidding me? Another 24 hours? This will be another 24 hours part 20 I think? lol. Enough of this "could happen" crap. We've heard of this "could happen" and "withinn 24 hours" for the past 1 month and so far what "could happen" never happen and the 24 hour clock has been a very long long long 24 hours running for the past month. All we want to hear is if the lockout is over and as of right now, it's not. Once again, same old crap but on a different day. I wonder if the Red Lobster $15 (unbelievable deal) 4 course meal special is still on, LOL. Peace.

The countdown begins

A lot of things could happen. Start telling us what does happen. I'm tired of the 578,821 articles, blogs, tweets, columns and posts on what might happen. When there's a deal, say so.
