No migraines for Vikes' Harvin

Even though they lost Sidney Rice, the Vikings feel pretty good about themselves at wide receiver. And here's why: Percy Harvin, who was bothered by migraines the past two seasons, hasn't experienced one in over seven months, according to people close to the team.

"It's not a problem," said a source.

Harvin, however, might be. First of all, he becomes the Vikings' lead receiver. Second, he has Michael Jenkins --a physical receiver -- to complement him. Third, there's no hint of the migraines that last summer had him pass out during an August practice. Most important, he's driven to produce.

People with the Vikings tell me that Harvin doesn't think he's appreciated by his peers in the league as a premier talent. So he's determined to show him what they're missing. If he succeeds, Percy Harvin becomes the headache.

This guy could be the same impact as Steve Smith on the Panthers in his prime.  Both are smaller WR with big chips on their shoulders, they play more physical than their size would indicate.  A huge breakout year coming for Percy, regardless of QB.

No migraines for Vikes' Harvin

No migraines is great news for Harvin! Now the bad news is he has no offense. He just lose a starting O lineman and the vikings failed to bring back Sydney Rice. Plus Harvin is now going to have back pain bending down to catch the Mcnabb pass thrown at his feet and over his head. Good work Vikes!

Not sure how great he will do as a legitimate #1 WR (where they game plan for u, double team, put their best corner on u, etc.) but only time will tell but that guy goes 110% every play & he represents what NFL Football is all about, every team could use a couple Percy's!!  I'm not a Gator or Vik's fan, I just love the NFL & he represents it with the Best of them, hoping for him to have a (HEALTHY) great season.  Good Luck Percy H.!!!

The sky is the limit for this guy if he stays healthy. He's as flexible as they come. I'll be interested to see how he and McNabb do together.
